Milton Mendel & Marsha Kleinberg Jewish Omaha Heritage Center

Through objects big and small, the Milton Mendel and Marsha Kleinberg Jewish Omaha Heritage Center offers a snapshot into the lives of members of Omaha’s Jewish community dating back to the 1850s.

From sports, to businesses, to military and public service, visitors can learn about the history of Jewish families and the impact they’ve had on the Omaha community.

Large photos on the walls serve as a backdrop to artifacts behind glass cases and signs with paragraphs of information. Visitors are encouraged to engage with touchscreens throughout the museum. These digital exhibits will rotate, allowing for the sharing of more rich Omaha Jewish history. The Kleinberg Heritage Center is open to the public.

Groups from schools, churches or clubs are encouraged to tour the center and learn more about the Omaha’s Jewish community. The museum is open to the public during the Staenberg Omaha JCC building hours listed here.
